Something we have noticed over the years is that so many rod brands and series within rod brands seem to have become almost homogenized. The rod blank taper’s are similar or the same for so many different models. Outside their power ratings, the rod actions (not including an XF) bend very much the same as well. This has resulted from efforts in attempted cost savings from using the same mandrels. That is not our approach at Elliott Rods or for Elliott Rod blanks.
